Eron Kiiza lawyer to the detained novelist Kakwenza Rukirabasaija who was brutally arrested from his home in Kisaasi says his client has been brutally tortured and he’s reportedly urinating blood
Kiiza revealed this in his latest tweet on his tweeter handle where he posted clothes purported to be those of the novelist who according to police is supposed to be arraigned in court today.

Kakwenza was arrested on 28th December 2021 by armed men after he allegedly abused the first son Muhoozi Keinerugaba via twitter over his 2026 presidential bid.
While addressing at police’s weekly security briefing at the police headquarters in Naguru, Charles Twine the spokesperson of the CID revealed that its security holding Kakwenza for continuously abusing President Museveni and his son Muhoozi Keinerugaba who is also the commander land forces.

According to Twine, the novelist will be charged for offensive communication under the Computer Misuse Act 2011 but denies that the suspect was not tortured and is in good shape.
It’s the first the novelist being arrested and tortured, in early 2020, he was picked and detained by security over his Novel titled “The Greedy Barbarian” which is said to have been directed at the president of this country Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.
Many opposition politicians, civil society organizations have condemned his arrest calling on the security to charge him into courts of law than holding him without trial.
