Cosmology

Cosmology is the scientific study of the large scale properties and the origin, evolution, and eventual fate of the universe. It involves understanding the cosmos as a whole, including the structure, dynamics, and the laws of physics that govern the universe. Cosmology combines observational astronomy, theoretical physics, and mathematics to explore fundamental questions about the universe, such as its beginnings with the Big Bang, its expansion, the nature of dark matter and dark energy, and the overall shape and fate of the universe. It seeks to answer how the universe was formed, how it is structured, and what will happen to it in the future.
