CONCACAF

CONCACAF stands for the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football. It is one of the six continental football (soccer) governing bodies recognized by FIFA. Founded in 1961, CONCACAF organizes competitions for national teams and clubs within its member associations, which include countries from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The body oversees various tournaments, most notably the CONCACAF Gold Cup for national teams and the CONCACAF Champions League for clubs. The confederation plays a critical role in the development and promotion of football in its regions and also represents its members in international football matters.
