Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia is a geographic region located in the southeastern part of Asia, consisting of the countries that lie southeast of the Indian subcontinent and to the east of mainland China. This region is typically categorized into two areas: Mainland Southeast Asia, which includes countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia; and Maritime Southeast Asia, which includes Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, and East Timor. Southeast Asia is known for its diverse cultures, languages, religions, and ethnic groups. The region features a tropical climate, rich biodiversity, and is home to significant trade routes.
