VP Alupo Offers Scholarship to Katakwi Boy Pictured Studying Under Street Lights

Katakwi: Vice President Jessica Alupo, who is also a female member of parliament, declared that Katakwi District had offered Otengei Emmanuel, a primary four student at Township Primary School in Katakwi, who had been seen reading by the road at night while illuminated by streetlights on the streets of Katakwi Town Council, a full education scholarship.

The Vice President was informed by Otengei Emmanuel of Ajeluk cell, Katakwi town council, and Ngariam County that he wanted to become an electrical engineer.

Pamela Ankunda,  the spokesperson Office of the Vice President’s , said the Vice President is motivated by Otengei’s energy and devotion, offered to the family of Otengei a full scholarship for his elementary school through secondary education up to university in an effort to keep his ambitions alive.
