UPDF Helicopter Crashes in Western Uganda

Fort Portal Tourism City – In a shocking incident, a Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) helicopter has crashed in Nyamisingiri, Kichwamba sub-county, Fort Portal Tourism City. Preliminary information indicates that the helicopter is suspected to have come from Muhote barracks near the Mountain of the Moon University, located on the airbase in Fort Portal Tourism City.

According to eyewitnesses, the helicopter crashed onto the house of an as-yet-unidentified resident, resulting in the tragic death of three family members and the pilot. The names of the deceased individuals have not been released pending notification of their families.
