Ndejje University has emerged victorious in the 2023 Inter University Games with the highest number of gold medals, eight medals.

The tournament was held for the 19th time, and this year’s tournament took place at Uganda Christian University (UCU) in Mukono and was attended by 24 universities.

Ndejje University has won the tournament for the seventh consecutive time, but this time they have brought in the smallest team in the games.

The organizers, UCU, took second place with six gold medals.

Makerere University took third place with five gold medals.

Kyambogo University took fourth place with four gold medals.

Victoria University is 5th with 3 gold medals.

Kampala International University is 6th with 3 gold medals.

Uganda Martyrs Nkozi is 7th with 2 gold medals.

Busitema is 8th, MUBS is 9th, and Kampala University is 10th, among others.

Soroti University, Kumi University, Mountain of the Moon University, and Kabale University have not won any medals.

The next edition of the 20th edition will be held in 2025, but the organizing committee has not yet announced the venue.
