UPDATE: Kibalama’s NUP Headquarters Reportedly Attacked, Property Destroyed

If you’re looking for a house on fire right now, it’s National Unity Platform, the leading opposition party in parliament with over 50 legislators.

This follows a series of events from last month’s delegate’s conference convened by party founder Moses Kibalama Nkonge where many party leaders were demoted and others fired to a new party headquarter unveiled today in Lubaga away from the known Kamwokya base.

After Kibalama addressing journalists where he ordered Bobi Wine and all the elected leaders to report to his office to confirm their allegiance, reports indicate that unknown goods have attacked his new headquarters and destroyed property including cars.

While speaking to online media Plus News, Kibalama spokesperson Gideon Tugume says unknown goons attacked their headquarter, three stones and other objects that destroyed their cars and window glasses and have since recorded statements with police.

“They threw stones and other sharp objects inside the fence that destroyed our windscreens and glass windows”-Tugume narrates.
