Last week we reported a story of how Mukono municipality legislator Betty Nambooze had been hospitalized and is still nursing wounds after slipping in her bathroom and indeed she survived by a whisker because sliding in the bathroom has costed many people their lives.
She was initially admitted to Bugolobi Medical Centre and was referred to Lubaga hospital where several of her friends, colleagues and family are visiting her. Among these are those from her party National Unity platform including Bobi Wine, Leader of opposition Mathias Mpuuga who continue to send her ‘get well’ soon messages.

Nambooze had many ups and downs during her political journey and this accident just worsened her already existing sickness of the back which was badly injured during the 2017 ‘togikwatako’ fracas in parliament where soldiers entered parliamentary chambers and roughed up legislators especially those who were opposing Museveni’s removal of the age cap from the country’s constitution.
That day remains memorable to legislators like Nambooze and Francis Zaake who were beaten without fear or favor but with flavor but the unapologetic Museveni military.
From the entire team here at Accord Communications Limited, we also wish Nambooze a quick recovery.
