Mixed Reactions As Uganda’s Aita Stakes Bid To Purchase Chelsea Fc

When news started making rounds that Chelsea Fc owner Russian national Roman Abramovic was opting to sell it off, it has been conquering headlines due to the situation at the team that even forced him to hand the team to the board of trustees early this to avoid controversy of the Russia- Ukraine invasion that has raised global condemnation.

It’s further reported the Chelsea owner is scared of hard- hitting sanctions that the UK is imposing on Russian business, business men and banks given his close association with the Russian president Vladimir Putin and he’s rushing to by-pass the effects though it’s all upon what the UK government will decide.

However, a Ugandan in the names of Aita Joel has picked interest in buying the team from Abramovic and is intending to pay higher than the price tagged to the team in a letter making rounds on social media and has caused mixed reactions

Aita Joel is the Chairman of Arua Hill FC a new Ugandan Premier League team that’s doing wonders picking points from top fright teams and is setting up a state of the art stadium in Arua.

Believed to be in his early 50s, the tycoon is doing exactly what faded money bags mike Ezra did in 2004 when he picked interest in buying off Leads United at a total of 60 million pounds.  The other Africans who have shown interest in buying top fright English Premier league Teams is Africa’s Richest Aliko Dangote who always wanted to have a stake in Arsenal foot ball club.

Aita’s bid for Chelsea has raised eye blows and mixed reactions.
