Police has made it clear committing adultery is only criminal and sinful in the bible (Read Genesis 20:9, Genesis 39:9), in Exodus 20:14 as it’s among the 10 Commandments that Christians should always observe but in Uganda its okay since there’s no ground of imprisoning a man or woman you found chewing your spouse.
According to police through CP Fred Enanga, there’s nothing wrong with chewing a married woman if you don’t do it for a full week or longer than that, it would be criminal and will be charged with stealing some one’s husband or wife married in a church marriage.
“It’s not criminal to have sexual relations with a married woman if it’s a short period of time”-Says Enanga
Enanga while addressing journalists during the weekly briefing at Police Headquarters Naguru says the adultery case can only stand if the person engaging in sexual relationship with a married woman or husband is a person of influence, say if the man is her boss in a big company and is using his position to chew your wife.

“We want to inform the public that we keep getting cases of adultery being reported to police as criminal cases, we want to come out clearly to inform the public that adultery is not a criminal offence reportable to police,” said Enanga
